About BPC-157
BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound-157) is a synthetic, stable pentadecapeptide corresponding to a 15-amino-acid partial sequence of a protective protein identified in human gastric juice. Unlike the parent protein, the synthetic fragment is notably stable in aqueous solution.
It is one of the most widely studied peptides in preclinical tissue-repair research, appearing frequently in models of tendon, ligament, muscle, and gastrointestinal recovery. Provided lyophilized for in-vitro and laboratory research only.
Mechanism of Action
In preclinical models BPC-157 is studied for its influence on angiogenesis — including up-regulation of VEGFR2 signaling — as well as interactions with growth-factor pathways and the nitric-oxide system, which together are proposed to support the formation and repair of vascular and connective tissue.
